About
Lora Davies is an author of historical fiction, fascinated by the stories of people and places that have been neglected or forgotten. Before becoming an author, Lora worked as an actor and theatre director.
Her debut novel, Daughter of the Shipwreck was published in 2021, followed by The Widow's Last Secret in 2022. She won the Yeovil Literary Prize in 2024. Her new novel, The Bone House, will be published in 2027.
