Lora studied English at Hull University before training at East 15 Acting School and went on to work as an actor, director and workshop leader. In 2018, Lora undertook a Masters in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her debut novel, Daughter Of The Shipwreck, was published in 2021 and her second, The Widow's Last Secret, in 2022. She is fascinated by all things historical and by the stories of the people and places who have been neglected or forgotten. She lives in Brighton with her partner and their two cats.
